Fifty years, one address
How we got here
The address goes back to the early 1970s. What it sells has changed twice; what it's known for hasn't.

Early 1970s
It opened as Apsara Novelties
A small shop bringing in imported goods that were genuinely hard to find anywhere else in the city at the time. It was built on an instinct for sourcing things people wanted but couldn't easily get.

2004
Reimagined as Apsara Fashions
A new, much more specific focus: women's intimatewear, done properly, across multiple brands. That's when the real education started — which brands run true to size and which don't, and where a “medium” from one label sits closer to a “small” in another.

Twenty-two years of fittings
How a returns problem disappears
Most of it goes away when someone experienced checks the fit before it ever leaves the shelf. Twenty-two years of that, one customer and one fitting at a time, is not a small amount of knowledge.

comfortAF, closing the gap
We're not trying to be the biggest catalogue of innerwear in India — we're trying to be the one you trust without having to think about it. Every style is chosen deliberately, and every one has already earned its place at the physical counter.
The problem online
Shopping online never really solved this
If anything, it made it worse. comfortAF exists to close that gap, one day at a time.

It isn't the same as someone who's spent years matching bodies to brands.

Choice, not certainty
Multi-brand marketplaces solved for choice. You could find more options — you couldn't find out, ahead of time, which one would actually fit.

So we started narrow
Seamless panties, essential cotton value packs, shapers and everyday T-shirt bras — because that's where “does it fit right, without a second thought” matters most.

Nightwear is next
More will follow after that, but only once we're confident we can bring the same standard to it. A few things, done properly, so you can stop thinking about your intimatewear and get on with your day.
